Hi
Sunday evening and I have spent the day after returning from Chichester tweaking my site and generating traffic while I watched the football on the TV.
I set up over 40 different text ads at http://viralurl.com/Ghenghis/TS all with different headlines and content but advertising the same thing.
I then spent about 3 hours on my Crazy Browser clicking up traffic and earned over 6000 hits which I thought was pretty good you can find out how to do this yourself by going to http://freetrafficforu.comand entering your name and email.
The football was not really up to much which probably accounts for my marathon clicking session (I normally do about an hour a day).
I am now getting 2 or 3 people per day subscribing to my Free lessons and 1 sign up for everything else about every 8 to 10 days, which I am pretty pleased with although its taken a lot of work to get to this point, and without my previous experience I think it would have taken another 2 or 3 months of hard graft to get here.
I need to think of a way of motivating people in my downline to keep going as I am worried a large number will give in afer 4 or 5 weeks when they can't realistically expect a satisfactory level of progress until they have been hard at it for a couple of months. The thing is it gets easier the further on you go because everything you do has a sort of cumulative effect and builds on what you did yesterday and last week and last month.
This is a very difficult concept to get over to people because I obviously have a vested interest in my downlines success, as if they fail I fail, but that fact in itself can make my exhortations seem insincere and I need to find a way round this.
I suppose all I can really do is be there to help and answer any questions as promptly and sincerely as I can.
I'm feeling pretty tired now and I think I'm going to have an early night.
I probably wont post here again till after the Leeds Utd v Oldham game on New years Day which hopefully will be a decent home win.

Bye for Now

Same day a bit later

Hi
Well I'm back now, so I shall carry on describing as concisely as I can how I have got to the point I'm at today. I will then continue every couple of days updating my experiences and I'll also publish any interesting articles I come across that may help others in a similar situation to myself.
The number one thing I realised ages ago was that all this internet marketing and quick money making schemes is a bit like the Gold Rush in the States in the mid 19th century in that its the people who supplied the prospectors who made all the money and therefore the road to success is to help people through the maze and show them how to succeed.
I think I have set up a pretty good process through my main site http://www.freetrafficforu.com whereby when a person subscribes to my auto-responder they get a free marketing course and the right to re brand it with their own referral urls.
They have to do a few days hard work to get everything set up but its totally free (well apart from $10 per month for a pro site rotator) and then if they do an hour a day, in about 6 months they will have a good flow of visitors to their sites and should be earning some commissions and can then move onto the other paid for programmes and increase their income further.
I am personally at the second of these stages where I am pro on everything and I am making a profit (You only actually need 2 people under you in most programmes to cover your costs everyone else makes you money) and I am searching for other paid for marketing strategies.
The whole thing is really just a numbers game, if you get the visitors you'll make the sales, although if it was in the bricks and mortar world the ratios would be horrendous as you seem to make 1 sale from aproximately every 700 visitors. The conversion rate on the marketing course is a lot better with over half the people who sign up going on to start using the method thus ending up in my downline earning me visitors, although so far not many have moved on to any of the paid for levels of the various programmes but time hopefully will address that.
I am finding the extra training available at http://viralurl.com/Ghenghis/profits really good and I am adopting a lot of the techniques, I might adjust my marketing course to reflect this soon, I will let you all know.
Actually this is a very good example of what I am trying to achieve in that the more stuff I try out and test the better placed I am to help others and I think that the more I help others the more successful I will be!
The one other really vital thing I have discovered is the importance of a masking url that not only masks your affiliate id in your advert but keeps it masked when the potential customer lands on the referral page. This is especially important with things you sell on clickbank otherwise you'll lose loads of commissions. I have a great utility for this at http://ViralURL.com/Ghenghis. Anyone trying to earn money on the internet really should make use of this site to protect their income and best of all its FREE!
I am going to log off now as I have a 550 mile round trip tomorrow to visit my cousin in Chichester and I am making an early start although I have to study the racing before I go. Just in case anyone's interested I find the ratings from here indispensable http://viralurl.com/Ghenghis/Race for sorting out the decent bets.

See you all in a couple of Days

A Brief History

Hi
I really can't imagine that anyone is going to read this but it will be quite therapeutic just keeping a record so here goes!
I started in the attempt to make money online about three years ago and jumped from programme to programme with little or no success, in fact the money was definitely going the other way!
However about 18 months ago I came across some traffic generating lessons that I could re brand and give away for free so I laboured through the set up and started off working the system and it seemed to work reasonably well, however being true to my flighty nature I gave up after about 5 months and never thought about them again till November 2007.
Thats when I got a couple of affiliate cheques through and was confused as to how I had earned them!
I checked up and found that the system had been working away in the background and I had downlines in my traffic exchange programmes ranging from a low of 16 to 1055 in webbizinsider and that these downlines had been sending traffic to my affiliate programmes on a sort of Auto pilot!
I have to go out in about 10 minutes so I'll speed this up a bit.
On discovering this I set up a new website (well in fact 3) http://www.freetrafficforu.com to start promoting the lessons again then my 3 mainstay affiliate earning programmes at http://www.david-hall-online.com. I then discovered another really great programme which happened to include 2 of my core programmes and had a fantastic training programme so I added this as well http://viralurl.com/Ghenghis/profits .
I have been busy marketing since then and this blog will keep an online record of how I'm doing and how much money I make.
I'll try and allow a bit more time to write the next installment.
Must dash,
See you next time
