A funny kind of week because its been just over two weeks and I did honestly intend to update weekly as promised in my last post! I don't suppose it matters as no one reads this apart from me so its more a diary and I am just letting myself down when I don't post.
Google are still steadfastly ignoring me as regards my suspended adsense account and I am starting to think I should maybe build a new site just to warn people about the fascist unresponsive dictatorial way that they operate.
The most annoying part of the whole process is that the sales side in the form of adwords can't stop emailing trying to get me to re-instate my campaigns and strangely they are quite capable of responding personally even if it is only to tell me that adsense is nothing to do with them and I should contact them directly. The unfortunate thing about this is that they do not tell me how I get a response as I must now have sent a dozen emails all without a single reply!
Anyway rant over.
The Lorry's gig at Islington Academy was absolutely amazing, the band were so tight and intense with no gaps between the songs. They overwhelmed the venue just driving and building an aural and visual assault to an insane climax rather like being a nail hammered into a piece of ebony. The band played as though they had been rehearsing solidly for the last 25 years and I cant wait till 9th May when they play leeds and are planning to make a decent video and live recording.
My Race Tipping service is doing well being 140 points in profit since the start of the year over the 2 services and my subscriber base is slowly growing.
I have in the last week had a massive concentration on my Profitmart site because not really having promoted it since joining in december I suddenly discovered that the site is making me a good residual income simply from the traffic and sales the program owners generate on your behalf. This is something of a rarity online and can only get better if I start really pushing it myself!
I should probably explain here that I became involved more as a way of concentrating my clickbank products in a single website. Using their services I built my prodigious profits site which acts as a search facility for all my other sites and also links to my bookstore for all my other sites at prodigious books.com.
Finding that I was also making money was just a bonus!
This actually happens quite often as in the case of my David Hall Advertising Services site where I found a wholesale source of traffic and email ads and turned that into a new business while at the same time getting traffic for myself at a very cheap price. The same applies to Website wizard and hostforprofit the two places where I build and host my sites but they also both make me money from referrals I have made, as do all the traffic exchanges as people in my downline upgrade and the whole thing starts to become self funding and actually move into profit.
The main thing you need is patience as if someone tried to set up all that I now have going they would spend weeks and an absolute fortune and be very worried and poor for quite a few months!
The only way (unless you're really lucky) to succeed is to graduate slowly from free to paid as you earn money and gain experience, and do not expect to make an actual income for at least 6 months and more likely a year, but after that its almost like having your own cashpoint in the form of lots of different profit centres all producing money every month.
The whole thing (apart from Adsense) just gets easier as the time goes by. The real challenge is in convincing referrals that they will succeed in the end, as so many just fade away after about 8 to 10 weeks mainly due I think to having unrealistic expectations of the time and effort required to succeed, probably because everyone expects the internet to provide instant results.
The major irony is that once you have built a large mailing list and have thousands of visitors to your sites very day, you can take an "instant cash programme" such as Private Millionaire and plug it into your system and make money straight away but it wont work very well if its one of the first things you try to work with.
I suppose ultimately for all its bangs and whistles, business online is very similar to conventional real world business apart from the fact that the whole world is accessible as a market from your laptop in your front room!
