A Funny Kind of week!

A funny kind of week because its been just over two weeks and I did honestly intend to update weekly as promised in my last post! I don't suppose it matters as no one reads this apart from me so its more a diary and I am just letting myself down when I don't post.
Google are still steadfastly ignoring me as regards my suspended adsense account and I am starting to think I should maybe build a new site just to warn people about the fascist unresponsive dictatorial way that they operate.
The most annoying part of the whole process is that the sales side in the form of adwords can't stop emailing trying to get me to re-instate my campaigns and strangely they are quite capable of responding personally even if it is only to tell me that adsense is nothing to do with them and I should contact them directly. The unfortunate thing about this is that they do not tell me how I get a response as I must now have sent a dozen emails all without a single reply!
Anyway rant over.
The Lorry's gig at Islington Academy was absolutely amazing, the band were so tight and intense with no gaps between the songs. They overwhelmed the venue just driving and building an aural and visual assault to an insane climax rather like being a nail hammered into a piece of ebony. The band played as though they had been rehearsing solidly for the last 25 years and I cant wait till 9th May when they play leeds and are planning to make a decent video and live recording.
My Race Tipping service is doing well being 140 points in profit since the start of the year over the 2 services and my subscriber base is slowly growing.
I have in the last week had a massive concentration on my Profitmart site because not really having promoted it since joining in december I suddenly discovered that the site is making me a good residual income simply from the traffic and sales the program owners generate on your behalf. This is something of a rarity online and can only get better if I start really pushing it myself!
I should probably explain here that I became involved more as a way of concentrating my clickbank products in a single website. Using their services I built my prodigious profits site which acts as a search facility for all my other sites and also links to my bookstore for all my other sites at prodigious books.com.
Finding that I was also making money was just a bonus!
This actually happens quite often as in the case of my David Hall Advertising Services site where I found a wholesale source of traffic and email ads and turned that into a new business while at the same time getting traffic for myself at a very cheap price. The same applies to Website wizard and hostforprofit the two places where I build and host my sites but they also both make me money from referrals I have made, as do all the traffic exchanges as people in my downline upgrade and the whole thing starts to become self funding and actually move into profit.
The main thing you need is patience as if someone tried to set up all that I now have going they would spend weeks and an absolute fortune and be very worried and poor for quite a few months!
The only way (unless you're really lucky) to succeed is to graduate slowly from free to paid as you earn money and gain experience, and do not expect to make an actual income for at least 6 months and more likely a year, but after that its almost like having your own cashpoint in the form of lots of different profit centres all producing money every month.
The whole thing (apart from Adsense) just gets easier as the time goes by. The real challenge is in convincing referrals that they will succeed in the end, as so many just fade away after about 8 to 10 weeks mainly due I think to having unrealistic expectations of the time and effort required to succeed, probably because everyone expects the internet to provide instant results.
The major irony is that once you have built a large mailing list and have thousands of visitors to your sites very day, you can take an "instant cash programme" such as Private Millionaire and plug it into your system and make money straight away but it wont work very well if its one of the first things you try to work with.
I suppose ultimately for all its bangs and whistles, business online is very similar to conventional real world business apart from the fact that the whole world is accessible as a market from your laptop in your front room!

April Dawns

I have been thinking hard about my internet strategy over the last couple of weeks.
I have organically developed the collection of programmes I am involved with over the last few years on a fairly Ad Hoc basis, adding new ones every month or two as they came along and I feel things have become a bit unweildy and I lack a certain amount of focus. Analysing things it seems the most successful are either the ones that I use every day such as Get Response and website Wizard or the traffic generation and sales sites like my freetrafficforu and guaranteedtrafficforu sites. These combine together with my rotator and drive traffic to my best residual income and training type sites Pips and especially SFI . All sounds very simple when I write it down like that but the problem I have is in targeting the different segments of the market, as experienced marketeers are looking for different things to newcomers to making money online.
I have, to a certain extent taken care of this a little bit with the traffic section of my Freetrafficforu site where I sell traffic and solo emails as an affiliate as well as having my own traffic and advertising sales site at guaranteedtrafficforu.
The other thing I find incredibly frustrating is how I can easily get people signed up on the free options on my various programs but getting them to upgrade even on a quality proven program like SFI is really hard seeming to be a ratio of about 1 in 10. I really do not understand people's reticence when it seems perfectly obvious that you can't make any money in anything without investing some money in it wether that be in subscription fees or paying for ads or traffic. Free is fine while someone learns how everything works and looks around in fact I'd say that Free is the right way to start but there comes a point where you have to commit to the business you've chosen. If we take SFI for example you can actually make some money as a free member selling the various products but you'll never make serious profits till you upgrade and also start marketing seriously.
I also have had a couple of strange customers the last week or two at my Guaranteedtrafficforu site with one person ordering a 50,000 visitors recurring monthly package then emailing after 3 days saying that they really meant to buy a Solo ad and could I change it. This was a bizzarre scenario as they have totally seperate web pages and the order process continually states what the product is at each stage. The person could not understand when I pointed out that their site was perhaps not ideal in that all it has at the top of the page is the cliched flash car big house and piles of dollar bills but no text so most people will just move away rather than scrolling down the page as it just screams scam.
Having just talked about nothing free making money I do have to add a note about the best lead source I have found which is Free-Net Leads where I simply bought 50 guaranteed sign ups from guaranteedtrafficforu.com and that put me on the top level getting 80,000 email leads per month all with date of information request and IP address so they are really high quality safe leads that boost my sales with a very low remove rate if you just email them every fortnight or so.
I am having a real hard time with google adsense as they have disabled my account saying simply that they consider my sites a risk to their publishers but not saying why they think that this is the case.I get the impression that this is all done by machine not people.
This has meant I have had to spend hours going through removing all the links on my sites replacing all the google ads with FFA ads instead. I have taken my own petty revenge by cancelling my adwords campaigns but I don't hold out much hope of re instatement since google operate as the new stalinist superstate just look how they have conspired with the chinese government.
They'll probably find some excuse for taking this blog off line now that they have been criticised!
They are just so frustrating since you can't find a human being anywhere there to actually talk to you in fact they are to my mind more invasive and dangerous than microsft have ever got near to being.I am even more enraged with Google as I have been updating the Red Lorry Yellow Lorry site( I have acted as the Bands Manager from the beginning in 1981) because we're doing a few live UK dates and I have found loads of sites through google that are in blatant breach of our copyright and yet they have google ads all over them such double standards really wind me up.
I have gone pro on all my traffic Exchanges as you get random referrals and credits even if you don't surf too much which I am having difficulty doing at present as my real world duties are impinging on my virtual life.
I am busy trying to develop poster sites in Sheffield and Birmingham but the summer festivals are fast approaching and I'll really be under pressure, as I organise all the internal poster advertising at most of these events. This means my online enterprises need to take less than the 3 to 4 hours per day that I am doing at the moment which will be hard especially with my Tipping service alone consuming about an hour each morning. The one blessing is that as you get more online income from your downlines it becomes much easier because you can afford to go pro on many of the traffic generating sites and time is basically exchanged and saved by paying for visitors.
The one thing I really must try to do is to make time to at least update this blog weekly as its a great tool for looking at what you're doing. When I leave it this long everything gets sort of telescoped into a less defined morass of events and its harder to pick out the positive changes that can be made.
Till next time.
